A drug called daraxonrasib made national headlines when former Sen. Ben Sasse shared that it had shrunk his tumors by 76%. Kevan Shokat '86, a professor at UC San Francisco and co-founder of Revolution Medicines, led the 2013 breakthrough research that made the drug possible.
